I work in the IT industry and I have over 25 years experience spanning etail, re-sellers, distribution and vendor levels. I have specialised in storage and currently work at Western Digital (WDC UK) as the UK Channel Sales Manager.
I have been at Western Digital Corporation for over 16 years and I have held numerous roles including sales manager for UK & The Netherlands, Enterprise products Sales manager, Distribution account manager and EU lead for Etailer sales and development.
My work life began in Nigeria where i worked on a poultry farm at a very young age as well as finding and selling bottles.
Back in England, I flipped burgers at McDonald's in London's Charring Cross. I briefly worked in the Civil Engineering industry after graduating before I found my way into Financial Services working as mortgage advisor initially independent and then tied to Friends Provident. I specialised in arranging mortgages. I was good at it but never truly enjoyed working in Financial Services. It wasn't what drove me back then.
What drove me was technology. I had no experience in the IT industry, my journey started in telesales and eventually led me through the distribution sales channel into Western Digital.
